Sudden Death - The mother of Nieland Frank Coyle, of this city, died very suddenly Monday evening, at her home on the Lansing Ridge.

She was apparently in her usual good health, and about 7 o'clock she went out into the yard to bring in the clothes, their usual washing having been done on that day. She had been out but a few seconds when she called for help.

Her son Hugh, on running quickly to her, found her sinking down into the snow. He helped her as best he could into the house, but had scarcely got her in and laid her down when she was a corpse.

She was a fleshy, stout built woman, and had usually enjoyed excellent health. Her death is supposed to have been apoplexy. It is a sad blow to the family, for she was a devoted mother, a kind neighbor, and a good Christian lady, whose loss will be mourned by a large circle of friends who had long loved her for her many excellent traits of character.

Her age was about 56 years. The funeral takes place this afternoon and will be largely attended.
