Sunday evening, June 18th, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey L. Smetzer, of this city gave their daughter, Miss Edna Emily in marriage to Mr. Victor Holst, of Keystone. Rev. D. C. Dungan, pastor of the Christian church performed the ceremony in the presence of a few friends. The same evening was the 26th wedding anniversary of the bride's parents.

The bride one of the favorite young ladies of Vinton and has a large circle of friends. He is one of the popular teachers of the county. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Holst, of Kane township, some three miles southeast of Keystone. He is one of the prominent young farmers of that township. He has charge of the home farm and the young couple will make their home there.
