Golden Anniversary - Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Henkle will observe their Golden Wedding anniversary Sept 20 with a reception from 2 to 5 pm (CST) at the Vinton Presbyterian Church parlors. Cliff Henkle and the former Alma Woods were married Sept 17, 1914 by the late Rev. P. Marion Simms. They are parents of two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Zoe) Thornton of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Orland (Lois) Harger of Lubbock, Tex. There are six grandchildren and three great-granchildren. The daughters will be hostesses at the reception and all relatives and friends are invited.
