Young People Marry at Marengo.

On Saturday, March 17th occurred the marriage of Miss Amanda Haines and Mr. Earl Garr. The marriage was quietly solemnized at 4:30 p.m. by Rev. Arthur Cadwell at the Methodist Church in Marengo. They were attended by Miss Grace Haines and Mr. Mervin Wood.

The bride was attired in a navy blue tricolette suit. She is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haines and has spent practically all of her life in this vicinity. She is a beautiful young lady, well versed in the art of home making.

The groom is a son of Mrs. Alta Garr of Belle Plaine. He is a young man of steady habits, well worthy of the lady of his choice. He is employed as boilermaker in the Belle Plaine shops. The happy couple went to house keeping in their newly furnished home at 621 6th Avenue, Belle Plaine, where they are at home to their many friends.

The Press extends congratulations and best wishes.
