EX-SUPER. RINDERKNECHT DEAD Received Fatal Injuries on Being Struck by Auto Several Weeks Ago
George Rinderknecht

Ex Supervisor George Rinderknecht, "Big George" as he was frequently called, died at his home in Atkins Wednesday morning as the result of an injury received several weeks ago when he was run down by an automobile as it was being backed out of a garage in Adkins.

For a time Mr. Rinderknecht's injuries were not regarded as serious. Tuesday his condition became alarming and Wednesday morning at 6:30 he died. He was 58 years old.

The funeral will be held from the residence at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Rinderknecht was elected as county supervisor in 1916 and served two years. For years he has been identified with the Atkins Savings Bank one of the leading financial institutions of Benton county. During the past four or five years he was the bank's president. For years he had conducted a lumber business in Atkins in connection with his other activities.

Mr. Rinderknecht was a good citizen and enjoyed to an unsual degree the confidence and esteem of his fellow citizens. His death will be a matter of genuine regret to hundreds of Benton county citizens.
