James C. Richards died Sunday morning, March 27, 6 o'clock at the home of his niece, Mrs. O. Bolenbaugh; the funeral was held Tuesday, March 29, conducted by Rev. A. S. Wright of the Presbyterian church, burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton, Iowa. Uncle Jimmy was an old settler of Big Grove and was never married. He was 74 years old.
