Norway, July 5 - Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Pease, 74, who died at her home here at 1:05 a.m. Sunday after several weeks' illness, will be held at St. Michael's Church Wednesday morning at 9:00. Rev. Wm. Kunkle will be in charge. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.

Mrs. Pease was born in Westfalen, Germany June 30, 1864, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Jutte. When three years old, she came to America and settled immediately at Norway. Here she has made her home all her life except for a few years at Daunbury. Her first marriage was to Rhinehart Sevening, who died three years later. In 1891, she was married to James Pease who preceded her in death on May 20, 1926. Two children died in infancy and a daughter, mrs. Minnie Kephart, died June 5, 1938.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Kathryn Listebarger, Fairfax; Mrs. Lena Mickelson, Cedar Rapids; William R. Sevening and Mrs. Marie Meredith, Norway; George Pease, Chicago; Mrs. Elmo Kolsto, Newhall.
