Jessie Frances Morey
Vinton - Jessie Frances Morey, 80, Vinton, Sunday from a stroke at Virginia Gay hospital here; had been ill three weeks; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Amburn, she was born in Mt. Auburn Aug. 5, 1864; on Nov. 6, 1889, she was married to Daniel Morey, who died in July, 1905; before coming to Vinton seven years ago to make her home with Addie Fry she lived in the Norway and Mt. Auburn vicinities; Mrs. Morey was a member of the Methodist church and American Legion auxiliary at Mr. Auburn; leaves two children, Mrs. Viola Graham, Peoria, Ill., and Dallas Morey, Marshalltown; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Sharp, Flint, Mich.; four grandchildren; three children and two sister preceded her in death; funeral, 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Alcorn funeral home in Vinton; burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
