Charles E. Hotaling 75, Shellsburg, Dies
Charles Ellis Hotaling
Charles Ellis Hotaling, 75 died this morning in the Vinton hospital. He had been a resident of Shellsburg the past 45 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Fry and Holland funeral home... Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Shellsburg.
Mr Hotaling was Born Dec. 31, 1887 in New York City a son of Charles and Mary Ann Hotaling. A brother died in infancy. The only survivors are cousins. Mr Hotaling was employed by the Rock Island Railway until his retirement.
