Eleanor L. Hopper
Eleanor L. Hopper, 87, of Shellsburg, died Monday, September 20, 2004, in St Luke's Hospital following a short illness.
Graveside services at 3 PM Thursday in Memorial Lawn Section of Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include 2 sister-in-laws, Ruth Hopper of Marion, and Rose Weininger of Cedar Rapids, a special cousin and caregivers, Ernest and Joan Reinberg of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother Ralph Baumgartner.
Eleanor was born June 30, 1917 in Newhall, Iowa to Charles and Meta Schultz Baumgartner.
She married Donald A. Hopper on Dec 23, 1942 in Cedar Rapids. She was a custodian at the Shellsburg Public School for 19 years retiring in 1976.
