Hallie Greene
Hallie, daughter of John Shaw, was born in Big Grove township March 26, 1871. She was married to Charles Greene Feb. 20, 1890, and died April 16,1891. Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, April 17th, in the Big Grove Presbyterian church of which the deceased had been a beloved member for four years. Hers was a lovely character. Her life had been helpful and joy-giving. With trustful, loving words she went to meet her Lord. Many friends join in tender expressions of sympathy for the young husband so sorely smitten, and in prayers for rich blessings upon the dear babe that is left to his love and care.
