Jerome Fretz
Luzerne Items-Our young friend and fellow citizen Jerome Fretz, died on Sunday, August 24th, of comsumption; aged 25 years, 1 month, and 26 days. He was buried today (25th) at the Ranstead graveyard, two miles northeast of town. The services were held in the town school house, at 2 o'clock p.m., Rev. Warner, of the M.E. church, of Blairstown, officiating. Our departed friend made his peace with our common Father, a short time before his departure. The sermon was full of consolation, and very impressive of the sweet ope the bereaved ones may have of meeting their dear one, in a purer and better land. May God be with them in their hour of grief.
