THE COLUMBIAN COOK BOOK
Introduction.
THIS book, containing recipes furnished by the ladies and friends of the Columbian Club of Audubon, is designed to supply the ladies of this community with a compact, handy and practical code of recipes, that have been tested and proven to be good.
The net proceeds from the publication are to go to the Columbian Library, an institution the public has learned to prize very highly. To this fact is, in a measure, due the liberal patronage that has been accorded the enterprise of this publication by the businessmen of Audubon.
Trusting that this book may merit a reasonable share of favor in the households of Audubon and vicinity and thanking the public for generous patronage the Columbian Cook Book is respectfully submitted. |
