Mrs. R. C. Lee

 

 

NEW DIRECTOR AT U.S.O. CLUB

Mrs. R.C. Lee, of 707 Fourth st. has taken over the duties of director for the United Services Organization club at 203 Fifth ave. She replaces Marvin Steven, who has enlisted in the navy.

Mrs. Lee volunteered for U.S.O. work last February and has been working two nights a week at the club since that time. She has been granted a leave of absence from Lederer Straus and Co., wholesale millinery firm.

Her husband, a motorman for the Des Moines Railway Co., served 11 months overseas as a mess sergeant in World War I.
