Dorothy A. Rowles '37, formerly of Onawa, an American Red Cross hospital recreation worker, arrived recently in England for further assignment in the European theater of operations. Miss Rowles was a former vocal music teacher at Buchanan school in Cedar Rapids.

Former C.R. Resident Married in Germany

Miss Dorothy Rowles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rowles of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Cedar Rapids, was married to Capt. Leland Douglas Stoddard of Evansville, Ind, July 14 in Dormstadt, Germany. They spent their wedding trip in Berchtesgaden.

Mrs. Stoddard, who was graduated from Coe College, taught music at Buchanan school. She entered the Red Cross service two years ago and has been in France and Germany since that time. Capt. Stoddard plans to finish his studies at Duke university, Durham, N.C., when they return to the States.
