Miss Helen Poulsen

 

 

Iowa Falls, Ia. -- Miss Helen Poulsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Poulsen, Iowa Falls, has been accepted as staff assistant in recreational work for foreign service. with the American Red Cross. She is a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, and will completes her work later this summer. On Aug 1 she will go to Washington, D.C. for a month's special training, then expects to be sent overseas in September.

Iowa Falls Red Cross Worker Is Now in England

Iowa Falls, Ia. -- Miss Helen Poulsen, Red Cross club recreation director, recently arrived in England, according to a letter from the American Red Cross received by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Poulsen, Monday.

Miss Poulsen, a graduate of University of Iowa, received her masters degree at the University of Minnesota late in the summer. Recently she has received special training for her work in Washington, D.C.
