Harold James Staats was born Aug. 30, 1921 to Harley Douglas and Annie Brown Staats. He died Sept. 20, 1942 and is buried in Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England. He has a cenotaph in Oakland Cemetery, Forest City, IA.
