Barton Earl Weaver was born Oct. 2, 1921 to William Sherman and Stella May Life Weaver. He died Feb. 16, 1945 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Barton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 99th Infantry Division, Divisional Band and was KIA in Germany and awarded the Purple Heart. He has a cenotaph in Grace Hill Cemetery, Hawarden, IA.
