Charles Eugene Taylor was born Feb. 7, 1915 to John Foster and Mildred Winter Taylor. He died May 27, 1942 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Taguig City, Philippines.

Pvt. Taylor served in World War II with the U.S. Army 200th Coast Artillery Regiment and was MIA/KIA.

Dale Otis Taylor was born Oct. 8, 1908 to Foster Edison and Anna Melissa Steele Taylor. He died Nov. 25, 1944 and is buried in Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City, IA.

Pvt. Taylor served in World War II with the U.S. Army 414th Infantry, 104th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany.

George Telecky was born Mar. 21, 1915 to Frank and Ottilie “Tillie” Trachta Telecky. He died Feb. 28, 1945 and is buried in Bohemian National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pvt. Telecky served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was MIA/KIA on Luzon, Philippine Islands.

Petty Officer Terpkosh served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

George E. Thuesen was born June 18, 1918 to Jens J. and Anna Juhl Thuesen. He died Nov. 14, 1944 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg and has a cenotaph in Danish Lutheran Cemetery, Grundy County, IA.

Sgt. Thuesen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. D, 377th Infantry Regiment, 95th Infantry Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.

Charles Jerome “Jerry” Timberlake was born Jan. 23, 1923 to Charles E. and Eva Mae Maxwell Timberlake. He died Jan. 23, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. 

2nd Lt. Timberlake served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a Platoon Leader with the 335th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 84th Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

John Elliott Titus was born in 1919 to Howard Monroe and Myrtle Mary Strane Titus. He died Nov. 29, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, IA.

Lt. Titus served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Fifth Air Force, 403rd Bomber Squadron, 43rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Bishop Milton Toms was born July 26, 1916 to Clayton W. and Elaine V. Bishop Toms. He died July 20, 1942 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids. IA.

Lt. Toms served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in the crash of a B-24 bomber during a night training flight near Davis-Monthan Army Air Corps base.
