Hugh Alonzo Bailey, Jr. was born Oct. 16, 1925 to Hugh Alonzo (Sr.) and Frances Faye Welsh Bailey He died Oct. 7, 2013 and is buried in Silverdale Pioneer Cemetery, Silverdale, WA.

Sgt. Bailey served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Arthur August Beyer was born Nov. 27, 1919 to August Ferdinand and Rosina Margaret Bielenberg Beyer. He died Apr. 24, 1945 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City, IA.

Pvt. Beyer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 712th Tank Battalion, 90th Infantry Division under the command of Gen. George Patton. He was KIA near Burgtreswitz, Germany.

Robert Gerald “Bobby" Blue was born Dec. 10, 1923 to Jerry J. and Elizabeth P. Lechty Blue. He died Sept. 4, 1946 and is buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery Old, Iowa City, IA.

Sgt. Blue served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Richard John Brady was born July 9, 1926 to Richard J. (Sr.) and Marie Smyth Brady. He died June 10, 1996 in Iowa City, IA. Richard served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Albert Eugene Brandt was born Aug. 12, 1926 to Albert H. and Mary C. Brandt. He died Mar. 11, 1945 and is buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Old, Iowa City, IA. He was initially buried in the 5th Marine Division Cemetery on Iwo Jima.

Pvt. Brandt served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 28th Marines, 5th Division and was KIA in combat operations on Iwo Jima.
