Elmer Allen “Bullwinkle” Wicker Brumley, Sr. was born June 13, 1919 to Samuel James and Alice Odessa Wicker Brumley. He died May 13, 2013 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.
Cpl. Brumley served in World War II with the U.S. Army in northern Ireland with the American Expeditionary Forces. He served with Battery B, 403rd Field Artillery Battalion.
