Mahlon Eugene Collins was born Dec. 8, 1923 to Allan Basil and Olive Mae McGregor Collins He died Nov. 12, 2004 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.

Sgt. First Class Collins served in World War II with the U.S. Army Coast and Field Artillery. He also served in Korea.

Joseph Michael Coyne was born June 5, 1920 to John Felix and Cleopha Leona Kelley Coyne. He died Mar. 1, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.

Petty Officer Coyne served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Asheville (PG-21) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when his ship was sunk in the Java Sea and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Hubert Alton Crandell was born Jan. 8, 1921 to Orville J. and Bertha May Anermick Crandell. He died Jan. 3, 2013 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
