Aulden Albert Oelberg was born Oct. 6, 1912 to Albert Richard and Esther Jeanette Krueger Oelberg. He died Jan. 3, 1950 and is buried in West Union Cemetery, West Union, IA. 

Aulden served with the U.S. Navy Seabees in World War II.

Thomas Peter Marvin Oelberg was born Jan. 4, 1913 to Joseph Hiram Marvin and Josephine Abigail Hendrickson Marvin (Oelberg). After the death of his father and his mother’s remarriage, he was adopted by Franklin Oelberg. He died July 12, 1942 and is buried in Lima Cemetery, Lima, Iowa. He was temporarily buried in Fort Reed British National Cemetery.

Petty Officer Oelberg served in World War II with the Naval Air Corps and was credited with sinking a nazi submarine off the coast of Martinique. He was killed in an accidental crash in Trinidad.

George Paul Ohligschlager was born Feb. 23, 1921 to William and Sabina Esther Keegan Ohligschlager. He died Apr. 18, 1945 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, IA.

Petty Officer Ohligschlager served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Patrol Bombing Squadron 111. He died as the result of an accident during take-off for a routine patrol.

Joseph Ingvald Olson was born Dec. 16, 1912 to Alfred J. and Amelia Anne “Mollie” Pederson Olson. He died Apr. 24, 1943 and is buried in North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.

Pvt. Olson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division and was KIA at Tunisia, North Africa and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Irvin Osmundson was born Aug. 29, 1914 to Lars K. and Elizabeth Osmundson. He died Sept. 19, 1995 and is buried in Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery, West Union, IA.

Sgt. Osmundson served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Alfred Edwin Ott was born Sept. 24, 1907 to Heinrich “Henry" and Alwine Louise “Alvina” Pleggenkuhle Ott. He died Aug. 3, 1944 and is buried in Alpha Cemetery, Alpha, IA.

Cpl. Ott served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died while in the service of his country.
