Sgt. Kienast served in World War II with the U.S. Army 42nd Engineer Battalion in the Philippines. He received the Army Occupational Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal.

Merle Dwight Kirstein was born Mar. 5, 1918 to William H. and Achsah J. Renne Kirstein. He died Nov. 4, 2002.

1st Lt. Kirstein served in World War II with the U.S. Army 37th Engineer Combat Battalion and was on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

Henry Edson “Hank” Kislia was born Feb. 1, 1916. He died Dec. 30, 1987 and is buried in Resurrection Cemetery and Mausoleum, Peoria, IL.

Hank served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 7th Air Force, 47th Bomb Squadron.
