Gerhard Wildeboer was born Jan. 1, 1922 to George Bruno and Florence Lena Strenge Wildeboer. He died Sept. 28, 1944 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg, IA.

Pvt. Wildeboer served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was KIA in France.

Howard Otis Willeke was born Oct. 11, 1912 to Charles and Tillie Spieker Willeke. He died July 21, 1944 and is buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Aplington, IA.

Petty Officer Willeke served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died of wounds received on Guam in performance of his duty and in the service of his country.
