Allen Henry Mealhouse was born Jan. 11, 1924 to Vernon F. and Estella Marie Mealhouse. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Luxembourg. 

Pvt. Mealhouse served in World War II with the U.S. Army 328th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Byron Ambrose Minear was born Apr. 20, 1917 to Earl George and Lucie E. Ambrose Minear. He died Aug. 9, 1943/FOD Aug. 10, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Minear served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vincennes (CA-44) and was MIA/KIA when that vessel was lost at the Battle of Savo Island. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He also served aboard the USS Texas (BB-35).

Robert Charles Modlin was born May 23, 1922 to Claude Leroy and Flora Ruth Ruhl Modlin. He died May 26, 1944 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine, IA.

Petty Officer Modlin served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
