Phillip Reeve McKevitt was born Jan. 3, 1920 to Phillip W. and Nina Ethelyn Reeve McKevitt. He died Apr. 8, 1942 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton, IA.
Lt. McKevitt served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was killed at Windsor Locks, CT while training with a P-38 fighter plane.
