Kenneth James Glasscock was born Sept, 3, 1919 to Harvey and Lottie Grace Herrick Glasscock. He died Nov. 18, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery Cambridge, England and has a cenotaph in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, IA.

Sgt. Glasscock served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 67th Bomber Squadron, 44th Bomber Group. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Albert Wilson “Wilson” Goodwin was born Jan. 5, 1916 to Boyd and Hattie Goodwin. He died Aug. 29, 2014 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Indianola, IA. Wilson served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. While he was in officer training school, he received his Master’s degree in science and mathematics from the University of Chicago. He then was stationed in Hawaii and also Guam as a meteorologist.
