Editor Heck offers to take farm products in barter for delinquent subscriptions to the Bee.

The township election finds these residents gaining office: Jos. Becker and A. C. Heck, justices of the peace; J. E. Boyle and Nick Groff, constables; Wm. Funke and L. A. Meyer, trustees; J. E. Boyle, clerk; and H. H. Dalaker, assessor.

The postoffice department announced the establishment of a rural free delivery route out of Ossian. It will service 122 farms with 550 residents beginning on Dec. 15- Andrew Knutson has been appointed carrier with John H. Knutson as his substitute. The carrier's salary is set at $500 a year.
