Lafayette fought in the battles of Vicksburg and Jackson, Mississippi, and Atlanta, Georgia. He was with Sherman's army on the march to the sea. He marched in the Grand Review, May 24, 1865, at Washington, D.C.

Samuel enlisted on October 8, 1861. He was discharged on July 8, 18€5.

Samuel fought in the battles of Corinth, Mississippi, Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. He was with Sherman's army on the march to the sea.

Samuel enlisted on July 28, 1862. He was discharged on August 24, 1865, at Clinton, Iowa.

Samuel fought in the battles of Fort DeRussy and Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. He fought in the battle of Nashville, Tennessee. Samuel campaigned in Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.

DELANEY, THOMAS E.—Co. B, 112th Illinois Infantry

Thomas enlisted on August 12, 1862. He was discharged on June 20, 1865.

Thomas fought in the battles of Kelly's Ford and Nashville, Tennessee. He fought in the battle of Raleigh, North Carolina. Thomas campaigned in Kentucky, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.

DEVER, GEORGE W.—Battery C, 1st Tennessee Artillery

The name is spelled Deaver in our community. George enlisted on September 17, 1863. He was discharged on June 8, 1865.

George fought in the battle of Nashville, Tennessee. He did garrison duty at Memphis, Johnsonville, and Nashville, Tennessee.

Henry enlisted on August 20, 1862. He was discharged on June 3, 1864, at Keokuk, Iowa.
