Earl served as a Zearing rural mail carrier.

Perisho, WILLIAM A.—Squadron V. P. 74, MM1 United States Navy Reserve

Bill was a veteran of World War II.

SHAVER, OTIS D.—Co. B, 357th Infantry.

Otis enlisted on April 12, 1918, at Clarinda, Iowa. He was discharged on November 30, 1918, at Camp Dodge, Iowa.

While serving in France a bullet grazed his head. The bullet loosened his gas mask and he inhaled a small amount of gas. However, his hospital records were lost. So although the battle experience helped to ruin his health, he never qualified for a service connected pension.

Harry served as a Zearing rural mail carrier.

Henry Dale Reynolds was a member of Post 116. He is listed with the men who died in the service. The following veteran was not a member of Post 116. However, Post 116 had charge of the funeral.
