BARTOLDUS C. FAGERLAND
Bartoldus C. Fagerland came to Roland from Norway in 1880 and was one of the first tile ditchers employed by the county around Roland and McCallsburg from 1901 to 1914.

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Fagerland were married in Roland July 12, 1921. Conrad was the son of Bartoldus and Elizabeth Fagerland, and Jullath was the daughter of Jacob and Dorthea Hoversten. They are parents of three children, Doretta (Mrs. O. I. Johnson), Conroy, and Delbert.
