MICHAEL Erickson
Michael Erickson and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Erickson, left Lisbon, Illinois, May 1956, and came to Roland. They lived in a log cabin that sat where the present telephone building is located. Michael and Sarah Erickson were married November 19, 1856, and moved to the farm just north of town. They were the parents of Ida Erickson Hanson and Lizzie Erickson Thompson. Michael was married again in 1866, and the following children were born: Jake, Olaf, Anna Mae, and Severt
