From the Nevada Newspaper: A team which is really trying to ascend the ladder to fame is this Milford High girls’ team, which is off to a fair start this season. They are coached by Supt William Swim. Front: Alyce Matters, Lola Tjelmeland, Harriet Comfort, and Joan Sorenson. Back: Joan Cooper, Delores Tjelmeland, Dorothy Murrow, Gloria Warren, Phylis Gardner and Doris Moser.
1948 Boys Basketball

Frank Egland moved to Roland and was on their 1951 State Runner-up team. Note: No seniors on this team. Picture taken quite early in the season. Bill Allen and Richard Warren were the senior boys.
In April of 1948, a paper and old scrap iron drive was held and the proceeds, $192, were used for both the girls and boys athletic clubs.
