As we walk a little further we see Joe Brafford. Joe, we find, is now doing well in Joe's Auto Body Repair Shop. He specializes in body repair for Chargers and Monte Carlos that have run into walls and over bridges.
As we venture on our way watching our step through the empty pop cans, we come upon Janice Viers, formerly Janice Brafford. Janice, as we all guessed, has been happily married for the last ten years. She now has a nice family of four and owns SKOAL Chewing Tobacco Company.
Over in the corner we find Steve Coughenour. For the first five years after graduation Steve tried the profession of stuntsman, and stunt driving. He finally realized he couldn't survive too many crashes and burns. Now he is happily married to you know who.
Seated next to Steve and his wife is Joel Huggins. Joel has been a policeman the past eight years in Chicago. He now resides in Story County and is following in the footsteps of his idol, Officer Gary Horn.
Next we come upon John Lengeling. Johnny is now living in a windowless house in the untamed land of Alaska where he manufactures his new Sonar Bear Tracker. The money from this keeps him and his wife, Windy O. Williams, happy.
Across the room we find Brenda Morrison. Brenda has just completed ten years of college, receiving almost every degree possible. She has just accepted a professorship at Harvard University.
Who should be see next but Kristi Richardson. Kristi has just flown in safely from Palestine, where she and Mohammad now live. She is doing well with a carpet cleaning service.
Seated close by is Dana Reitan. Dana now lives in Beverly Hills in her very elite mansion. She has done well with her new nationwide restaurant chain named, "You want it? We got it." You can find anything ranging from the house speciality of water melon to chocolate chip mint malts.
Jeff Sesker, as we find out, has been sitting in his elite Florida mansion filling out college applications, and trying to figure out what he is going to do.
Close by, dressed very sporty, we see Roy Smith. Roy, as we all figured, has become a millionaire and is now owner of the Playboy Mansion.
Karen Smith is the next familiar face we see. Karen has just flown in from the deep, untamed Jungle of Africa, where she is a professional bounty hunter of snakes.
Walking a little further we see Ric Salyers, who now owns Anheuser Bush Company. He has just invented a new disposable can perfect for parking lots and lounges.
Last, but not least, we come upon Debbie Marrs. Debbie has been married for the past ten years to her high school honey. She has become the President of Boyds. She was promoted when she discovered a new kind of ice cream bar, the Marrs Bar, of course.
As we come to the end of the evening, we are happy to have learned that everyone, well almost everyone, turned out quite well. Now its time to start planning for our next reunion in the year 2002.
The Collins senior class of 1982 started kindergarten with Karen Smith, Steve Coughenour, Brenda Morrison, John Lengeling, Jeff Sesker, Roy Smith, and Joel Huggins. Jon Armentrout joined our class in first grade. In third grade we were joined by twins Janice and Joe Brafford. Kristi Richardson then moved to Collins and joined our class in the fifth grade. Two newcomers were added to our class in the sixth grade. These were Dana Reitan and Debbie Marrs. As we passed through junior high and into high school we were joined by Ric Salyers in his sophomore year. This was our last addition to the class.
