Ten of the present eighteen members started together in kindergarten. They are David Ball, Kirk Cheville, Bill Dunshee, Jim Huggins, Julie Milligan, Brad Oswalt, Karen Partridge, Keith Partridge, Sheila Raines, and Karen Stratton.
In first grade, Kim Romp, from Randall, was the first addition to our class. Mark Hudson, from Bedford, joined the class in the third grade, but moved to Sioux City. He returned in the sixth grade after moving from Baxter.
There were three additions in the eighth grade. Debbie and Diana Richard moved here from Des Moines as did Shari Moll. During our freshman year in school we were joined by Diane Johnson from Bondurant. The next addition to our growing class was Ed Grimm from Norwalk, who entered school in the sophomore year.
The last member of our class to join us was Laura Hernandez. Laura came to Collins from Mexico this year to spend the senior year with us.
As graduating seniors our class has grown from a modest ten children to a total of eighteen young adults.
