Grade News: 6th - We watched Iowa History on T.V. and enjoyed it very much as the topic was on Andrew, Iowa. We learned about Ansell Briggs, the first governor of the state of Iowa. We saw pictures of his home, the large elm tree he planted, and the monument erected by the state of Iowa at his grave in the Andrew cemetery.
