February 19, 1959 Valentines were the theme of the Annual Future Farmers of America (F.F.A.) Ball held in the school lunchroom Saturday night. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the queen, who was Mary Ann Kearns, candidate from the senior class. She was crowned by Don Evans, F. F. A. president and presented with a dozen long-stemmed red roses and an F. F. A. necklace. Each of the candidates was presented a corsage of red roses by the F. F. A. chapter. After the crowning ceremony, each of the other queen candidates, Pat Kimberley, Rita Branscomb, and Linda Atwood, danced with the F. F. A. representative from her class.
