January 9, 1958 The annual Christmas Program and gift exchange was held on December 20. The 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades opened the afternoon program by singing Christmas songs. "Too Much Mistletoe" was the title of a humorous one-act play by the sophomore class. Christmas celebrations in various lands were explained by the junior class. The seniors revealed Santa's workshop and his helpers. The student council and class presidents took charge of the grab-bag gift exchange. The most unique gift was a jar of fried caterpillars. Mr. and Mrs. Burnett were given a nice book stand by the basketball teams. Everyone had an enjoyable afternoon and thanks to everyone for doing their part in making it so.
