February 7, 1921 High School Girls to Hear Lecture The high school girls of Story county are invited to attend a course of lectures given in the high school gymnasium by college instructors, in regard to life after high school days. College careers will be encouraged. These will be given Friday night, February 24th, and Saturday morning, February 25th.

May 12, 1921 Graduation Exercises The Senior Class of the Collins High School will be graduating on Thursday evening, May 19th. Exercises will be held at the Church of Christ. Members of the graduating class this year are: William F. Ball, Irene L. Chambers, Herman Dulany, Ila May Johnson, Lowell L. Oswalt, Coral B. Patterson, Irene B. Shenkle, Johanna Tracy, Nina H. Wade, and Aileen Witmer. They have chosen for their class motto “We’ll Find a Path or Make One. ” Class colors are Jacque Rose and Peach. Class Flower, Tulip.
The Junior and Senior Reception was held last Wed., May 4th at the Wm. Sinnott home. Class exercises will be held tomorrow, Friday night at the Church of Christ. On Sunday evening, May 15, the Baccalaureate sermon will be delivered at the Church of Christ by Rev. Paul M. McDade. Last of all the Commencement Exercises will be held Thursday evening, May 19th at the Church of Christ, followed by the Annual Alumni Banquet which will be held immediately after the Commencement Exercises.
Insert 2003: The only graduating class with graduates who had their entire twelve years schooling in the 1909 building 1909 plus 12 = 1921). The new school building construction was completed December 1921 and building placed into use January 2, 1922. The 1909 building continued as the elementary building for grades 1-6.
May 19, 1921 Senior Class Exercises The senior class of the Collins High School entertained the public with their class “Nigh Exercises ” on Friday evening, May 13 in the auditorium at the Church of the Christ.
