Behavior In The School Buses There are many improvements needed in our school. Some cannot be made because of cost, but many other improvements can take place without expense. There is no cost to using better manners on the school bus, and I believe that most of the passengers, as well as drivers, will agree with me that we need to improve. Here are a few rules that all students should remember:
1. Cooperate with the driver by following suggestions pleasantly.
2. Take pride in your bus and refrain from littering it with paper or damaging it in any way.
3. Always wait until the bus is stopped before trying to get off or on.
4. Keep your seat in the bus while it is in motion.
5. Do not get in the road while waiting on the bus.
6. Talk very quietly so as not to confuse the driver. Avoid unnecessary noise.
7. Be as orderly on the bus as you would in the classroom.
8. Shoving or pushing could result in a bad accident. Be as orderly while getting off the bus as possible. Keep heads and hands inside the bus.
9. Be on time for your bus, and do not expect the driver to wait on you. He must get his load to school on time.
