(Insert 2005: This game likely has historic importance as the final inter-school game played on the Collins school grounds diamond that is the same school grounds the Collins 1924 State Championship team played their home games. Collins school games have been played at the city park diamond west of the highway since the mid-1940's. Because recent heavy rains caused the park diamond to be too wet, this game was changed to the Collins school grounds diamond.)
