It was a mighty good game. Both teams played some good ball and also some ragged ball. There was no beefing on either side. Thompson’s decisions were unquestioned and Nevada won the game by having it on the visitors. Collins rooters who stated before the game that “they had the best ball team in the country ” will have to hand it to the locals for slipping their idols a good sound beating. There will have to be a deciding game played to settle the league championship dispute. It is likely that a neutral town will be asked to furnish a diamond for this game but Nevada has it on them when they rely on their ball team alone and will copy the league championship hands down.
