December 18, 1947 School Notes - The December PTA meeting will be held on the 18th at the high school. It is pot luck supper with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith in charge. The grade school will give a Christmas operetta.
Voc Ag Projects - This is the first series of reports on Vocational Ag Supervised Productive Projects. This week we are interviewing Charles Hofer, a junior who is now enrolled for his third year in Voc Ag. He is active in FFA work and is Vice Pres. of the Collins Chapter.

Grade News: First - Much of our working time this week has been spent on the Christmas operetta. The reading groups have completed their supplementary readers and will begin new books after holiday vacation. In Numbers work, we are learning to add or subtract with numbers up to ten. Second and Third - We are learning multiplication tables. We drew names for our Christmas Party which is next week.
December 25, 1947 New Years Resolutions: Jo Ann Fertig - No more black eyes, Ramona Beavers - Get more sleep, Joan Sager - Act better in Home-Ec, Gail Clark - Quit slang language, Lane Rice - Sleep more and work less, Norma Evans - Get better grades in general business, Beverley Liggett - Not break any more teeth, Margaret Maxwell - Stay home more often.
Senior Class Party - Wednesday night the senior class held a Christmas Party with each person entitled to bring a guest. The evening was spent in dancing, playing cards, and ping-pong. After refreshments, everyone took part in the grab bag.
