The Office of Defense Transportation has granted schools permission to transport pupils to and from their homes on days when the weather is such that walking to meet the busses would be hazardous. It has been ruled that full transportation may be provided if either of the following conditions exist: (1) the temperature is colder than 5 degrees above zero (2) if there is a storm or blizzard, (3) if the weather conditions are generally very disagreeable. Parents may find out if busses will make their full trips on any given day by phoning the local telephone operator after 7:30 A. M. The telephone office will be notified whenever the busses are to make their full trips.
