November 23, 1909 The new school is nearing completion and transfer possible this week. School dismissed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving vacation. (Insert 2003: Transfer was completed to new school over Thanksgiving weekend)
From the old school building constructed in 1884 came the first graduation class for those ten students who had completed eighth grade in 1892. When a year of High School was added, two of those students returned to school for further education and graduated in 1895. Soon a second year of High School was added and in 1899, the graduates were ten-year students. Eleventh grade classroom was added in 1905. In 1910 the first full four-year high school graduation was held.
