The day was occupied by the Board in visiting, inspecting and taking an invoice of the County Farm and infirmary, from which the following is summarized:

Pleasant, 658; Insane Asylum, Independence, 753; Feeble Minded Institute. Glenwood, 2S5; Girls' Reform School, Mitchelville, 125; Boys' Reform School, Eldora, 331; Deaf and Dumb Asylum, Council Bluffs, 269; Blind Asylum, Vinton, 166; Normal School, Cedar Falls, 260; State University, Iowa City, over 500; Agricultural College, Ames, 300.
