IRA G. BAKER

Ninety-one years ago, Ira G. Baker came from Ohio and located in West Liberty. The remainder of his life, with the exception of nine months spent in service in the Civil War, was spent here. His occupation was farming.

He was the father of Mrs. Rose Hormal, Mrs. Myra Swain, and John Baker who have spent almost their entire lives in this community and Mrs. Mary Barnhart who resides in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
