  • Anderson Township
    • Benton (PO) - Established May 1863 - Closed August 1881; about 5 miles north of Hastings.
    • Box Elder (PO) - Established May 1890 - November 1901; Postmaster: J. A. Farrington, on Pottawattamie line.
    • Etta (station) - Private Station, 3 miles no. of Hastings, built by J. D. Robbins and named for his wife Etta.

  • Glenwood Township
    • Coonville (town) - Established by Latter Day Saint Pioneers 1848 -1853, postmaster: Libeus T. Coon; later changed to Glenwood

  • Lyons Township
    • Alps - Established February 1858 - Closed May 1859, Postmaster: Arba Lambson
    • Egypt (town) - August 1865 - June 1867; 8 miles south of Pacific Junction, later moved to Fremont, name changed to Bartlett.
    • Haynie (station) Jul 1868 - Nov 1872, on the Council Bluffs and St. Joseph railroad.
    • Rushville (ghost town) - First town in Mills County

  • Plattville Township
    • Bethlehem (town) - Later name changed to East Plattmouth
    • California City (town)
    • East Plattsmouth (town) - Village on the Missouri River
    • Florence (town)
    • Junction City (post office) - 1870 - 1872; Post Office for East Plattsmouth
    • Plattville (town) - 1854 - 1860; town south of East Plattsmouth.
    • Sharpsburg (ghost town) - Later name changed to Junction City, then to East Plattsmouth

  • Saint Mary's Township - On the Missouri River
