  • Anderson Township
    • Benton (post office) - Established May 1863 - Closed August 1881; about 5 miles north of Hastings.
    • Box Elder (post office) - Established May 1890 - November 1901; Postmaster: J. A. Farrington, located on Pottawattamie line.
    • Etta (station) - Private Station, 3 miles north of Hastings, built by J. D. Robbins and named for his wife Etta.

  • Center Township
    • Balfour (town) - 1904-1940
    • Fayette (town) - Jul 1856 - Jun 1860; name later changed to Mount Olive
    • Hillsdale (town) - 1852 - 1950's
    • Louden (town)
    • Mount Olive (town) Jun 1860 - Sep 1867

  • Deer Creek Township
    • Solomon (town) - Jul 1880 - 1920's
    • Turner (post office) - Jul 1874, moved to Fremont, Nov 1879; renamed Imogene. Reopened as Turner in 1880, closed July 1880

  • Glenwood Township
    • Coonville (town) - Established by Latter Day Saint Pioneers 1848 -1853, postmaster: Libeus T. Coon; later changed to Glenwood

  • Indian Creek Township
    • Harmony (town) - Later named Emerson
    • Indian Creek (post office) - Established October 1854 - Closed July 1859; Postmaster: David Silkett, 3 miles southwest of Emerson
    • Weston (town)

  • Ingraham Township
    • Ingraham (post office) - Establised April 1854 - Closed October 1859; Postmaster: James H. Goodman
    • Stage Coach Inn
    • Ward (town) - Apr 1867 - Jun 1868, Postmaster: George Goff, later name changed to Silver City

  • Lyons Township
    • Alps - Established February 1858 - Closed May 1859, Postmaster: Arba Lambson
    • Egypt (town) - August 1865 - June 1867; 8 miles south of Pacific Junction, later moved to Fremont, name changed to Bartlett.
    • Haynie (station) Jul 1868 - Nov 1872, on the Council Bluffs and St. Joseph railroad.
    • Rushville (town) - First town in Mills County

  • Oak Township
    • Folsom (town) - 1896 -1940's
    • Henton (station) - 1879 - 1886, later name changed to Folsom
    • Lewis City (town) - Name later changed to Mineola.
    • Pacific City (town)

  • Plattsmouth Township
    • Stillary's (town)

  • Plattville Township
    • Bethlehem (town) - Later name changed to East Plattmouth
    • California City (town)
    • East Plattsmouth (town) - Village on the Missouri River

    • Junction City (post office) - 1870 - 1872; Post Office for East Plattsmouth
    • Plattville (town) - 1854 - 1860; town south of East Plattsmouth.
    • Sharpsburg (town) - Later name changed to Junction City, then to East Plattsmouth

    • Cutler's Camp (town) - 1847
    • Jewell (post office) - 1874 - 1877
    • Milton Station (town) - Later name changed to Malvern.
    • Peaceville (town) Established in 1870's
    • Wall Street (town) - Fictious town

  • Saint Mary's Township - On the Missouri River
    • Cerro Gordo (post office) - Sep 1853 - Aug 1863
