Farm Creek School

The Farm Creek School was located in the extreme southwest corner of Section 1, Range 40, Anderson Township.

Mrs. Belle Gowdy taught for sixteen consecutive years at Farm Creek School, until it closed in 1920.
On July 1, 1920, the Farm Creek School was hit by lightning and burned to the ground.
